sonarview.Atrianglesymbolindicateseach90thdegree.IthaslabelsindicatingNorth,

East,SouthandWest.Itisupdatedwhentheheadingofownshiphaschangedmore

than1degree.

VerticalRing

TheVerticalRing(F)showstheselectedrangeoftheverticalsliceasafullcirclein

thehorizontalpresentation.Thisisanindicationofwhichdistanceatargetshouldbe

presentedintheverticalview.TheV erticalRingwillonlybevisibleinthosemodesthat

supportaverticalslice.
