Purpose
ThisprocedureexplainshowtopowerofftheSimradSH90.
Procedure
1PresstheUpbuttonontheOperatingPanel.
Up
Thegreenlampnexttothebuttonwillash,andanaudiblesignal
indicatesthatthetransducerishoisted.
Whentheupperpositionhasbeenreached,thelampwillilluminate
continuously,theaudiblesignalstops,andtheupperbuttoninthe
StatusmenushowsTransducer:UP.
2PressthePowerbuttonontheOperatingPanel,andkeepitdepressedfor
approximatelytwoseconds.
POWER
Thesonarisswitchedoff.Notethatyoumustnot usethegreen
buttonontheProcessorUnit,onlythisPowerbuttononthe
OperatingPanel.
Tip
IfyouforgettohoistthetransducerbeforeyoupressthePowertoswitchoffthe
SH90,itwillhoistthetransducerautomatically.Youmustthenwaitsomeextratime
beforethesonarswitchesoff.
Ifthesonarisswitchedoffuncontrolledwiththetransducerinitsloweredposition,
thetransducerwillnormallybehoistedautomaticallyafterapproximatelyone
minute.Y oumusthoweververifythatthistakesplace.Ifthetransducerisnot
hoistedautomatically,itcanberaisedmanuallybymeansofthehoist/lowerswitch
intheMotorControlUnit.Ifmainspowerislost,youcanalsousethehandcrank
provided.
