designedforruggeduse.
Thecomputerisbasedonacommercialdesign,but
thesoftwareandhardwarehasbeenspeciedand
assembledbySimradtosuittheSH90requirements.
ThecomputerholdsaDVDplayerandmultipleUSBportsforusewithfuturesoftware
upgrades.
OperatingPanel
TheOperatingPanelcontainsallnecessarycontrol
functionsfornormaloperationoftheSH90.
Thecontrolsarearrangedinlogicalfunctiongroups,
thisgivesaclearandeasyoperation.
ThemajorityoftheSH90functionscanbeaccessed
usingthetrackballontheOperatingPanelandthemenusystemonthedisplay.You
canalsouseastandardcomputermouse.
OperatingPanelpowersupply
Asmallcommercialpowersupplyisimplementedtoprovidestand-bypowertothe
OperatingPanel.ThepowersupplyisconnectedtotheProcessorUnit.
