BeforeyouswitchontheSH90
Beforeyoupowerupthesonar,makesurethatyouhavesufcientwaterdepthtolower
thetransducer!
WhentheSH90isnotused
ToprotecttheSH90whenitisnotinuse,westronglyadviceyoutohoistthetransducer,
eventhoughyoumaynotswitchoffthepower.Innarroworshallowwatersthisisvery
important,sinceyoumay-inworstcase-runthetransducerintothebottom.Thiswill
damagethetransducerandthetransducershaft,andextensiverepairisrequired.
Whenyouaredockingyourvessel
ItisveryimportantthattheSH90systemremainsswitchedoff
whenthevesselisindry
dock.Ifthetransducerisactivatedwhenoutofwateritmaybedamagedbeyondrepair.
Asasafeguardingmeasure,werecommendthatyouremovethepowerfusesonthe
SH90systembeforethevesselisdocked.Asanextrasafetymeasure,theSH90isby
defaultpoweredupwiththetransmitpowerswitchedoff.
