AGCmeansAutomaticGainControl.TheAGCwillautomaticallyscalethereceived
echodatatomaintainaproperdynamicrangebasedonalltheincomingechovalues.In
additiontoOff,thestrengthoftheltercanbesettothreedifferentlevels.
TheAGC(AutomaticGainControl)functionadjuststhegainusinganimageprocessing
algorithm.Thisprocessingdependsonthestrengthoftheincomingechosignal.
Theimageisanalyzed,andreverberationandechoesareidentied.Basedonthe
analysis,weakechoesareamplied,whilestrongechoesarereduced.Theresultisa
“normalizing”effectthatreducesnoiseandreverberation.TheAGCisfunctionalupto
