2. Apply a short press on the
button. The wind speed alarm
limit screen is shown.
3. Press the
button, hold for 2 seconds and release. The
current value will be shown flashing.
4. Increase the alarm value using the
button.
5. Decrease the alarm value using the
button.
6. Press the
button, hold for 2 seconds and release to save
the limit setting.
7. Press the
button and hold for 2 seconds to return to the
main screen.
2.5 Alarm Sounding
Alarms are system wide and all the instruments will sound and
flash a warning message.
If there is an external alarm connected this will sound at the
same time (only if an IS15 Expander is part of the system).
To cancel a sounding alarm press any button on any of the
instrument heads.
Note ! The flashing warning will remain as long as the alarm condition
exists and disappears automatically when there is no longer an
alarm condition. The sounding alarm will always have to be
cancelled.
Alarm messages
The symbols that are shown when an alarm is triggered are as
below:
‘SHAL’ = The Shallow Water Alarm
‘dEEP’ = The Deep Water Alarm
‘AnCH’ = The Anchor Alarm
‘HIGH’ = The High Wind Speed Alarm
‘Er.XX’ = System failure (Contact your Simrad dealer).
