Whenthebubblescollapse,theycauseverystronglocal
shock-wavesinthewater.Thesemaybeaudibleandcanalso
damagethepropellerblades.Inadditiontothis,thecavitation
willgenerateverystrongreverberation,commonlyseenasared
stripeofechoesbehindthevessel.
Ifyouhavebigproblemswithcavitation,trytoadjustthe
propellerpitchand/orthenumberofrevolutions.
Reverberation
Reverberationisgeneratedwhentheechoesfromyoursonar
transmissionarereectednotonlybyshandobjectsinthe
water,butalsofromthebottomandtheseasurface.
