•HWID:Thiselddisplaystheunique12-characterhardware
identicationcode.ThiscodeisdifferentforeachSH90sonar.
Simradusesthiscodetogeneratethe32-charactercodeword
usedforapermanentoptioninstallation.
•AddLicenseString:Thisbuttonisusedforpermanent
installationofthechosenoption.Whenyoupressthebutton,
thiswillactivatetheon-screenkeyboardusedtotypethe
required32-charactercodeword.

1Obtaintheoptioncodeasfollows:
1OpentheInstallOptionsparameterdialog,andwrite
downtheHWIDnumber.
2SendtheHWIDnumbertoyourdealer.Makessurethat
youwritedownthecharacterstringcorrectly!
3Usethesonarwithouttheoptionuntilyourdealer
approachesyouwithacodeword.
2OpentheInstallOptionsparameterdialog,andclicktheAdd
LicenseStringnumber.
3Placethecursorinthetexteld.
4Typethecodewordontheon-screenkeyboard.
5Checkthatthe32charactersareenteredcorrectlyintothe
texteld.
6ClicktheApplyLicenseStringbutton.
7Exittheparameterdialog,andrestartthesonar.
8Checkthattheoptionisavailableforuse.
