1PresstheGearbuttonintheSymboleldontheOperating
Panel.
Thegearsymbolwilleitherbeapurseseinecircleoratrawl
symboldependingontheparameterchosenbytheGear
buttonintheSetupmenu.Theselectedgearsymbolwill
bedisplayedinyellow.
Howtousetheseinecircle
1PresstheGearbuttonontheOperatingPanel.
Thepurseseinecirclewillappearontheforwardendofthe
shipsymbolonthecorrespondingsideofthevesselselected
intheSetupmenu.Thecirclewillfollowthevessel’s
movements.
2Atthemomenttheseineisshot,presstheGearbuttonagain.
Thepurseseinecirclewillremainstationaryandindicate
theidealpathforsettingtheseine.Threesquaresymbolson
theship’scourselineindicatethe:shooting,onehalf,and
theendoftheseinepositions.Threedifferentnetscanbe
denedifyouclickGearontheSetupmenu.
3PresstheGearbuttontodeletethepurseseinecircle.
Howtousethetrawlsymbol
Thisisausefulaidinprovidinganoverviewofthetrawl
operation.Trawldatacanbesetmanuallyusingthemenuor
automaticallybyinterfacingaSimradFStrawlsonarorSimrad
ITItrawlmonitoringsystemwiththesonar.
Inthemanualmodethetrawlsymbolwillbedisplayedwith
theselectedsize,depthanddistance.WhentheFS70,FS900
orFS3000trawlsonarisconnected,thetrawlsymbolwill
automaticallybedisplayedwiththecorrectdepthinthevertical
modes.WhentheITItrawlsystemisconnected,thetrawlsymbol
willbedisplayedwiththecorrectdistance,bearinganddepth.
Ifrequired,thetrawlopening,ambientwatertemperature,and
trawl-llingindicatormayalsobedisplayed.Thisisassumed
thatthepropersensorsareconnectedtotheITIsystem.
