TheOperatingPanelcontainsallnecessarycontrolfunctionsfor
operatingthesonar.Thecontrolsarearrangedinfunctiongroups,
whichgivesaclearandeasyoperation.

TheProcessorUnitisamarinecomputerbasedontheMicrosoft
WindowsXP®operatingsystem.Itisdesignedforrugged
use,andplacedonshockabsorbers.Thecomputerisbased
onacommercialdesign,butthesoftwareandhardwarehas
beenspeciedandassembledbySimradtosuittheSH90sonar
requirements.ThecomputerholdsaDVDplayertobeusedfor
futuresoftwareupgrades.
