2 THE MENU SYSTEM
The menu isdisplayedonthe right--handside ofthe display. In
order to make an optimal use of the sonar for most types of
operation, three different menus may be selected (refer to
chapter 5.18.4).
The table below shows the contents of the main menu for the
different submenus,with referencetothechapterin whichthe
submenu is described.

The sonar is equippedwitha battery memory thatremembers
all selected menu settings even if the sonar is switched off.
The menu settings marked with an asterisk indicate the
normal settings which perform well under normal conditions.
Ifone hasgotlostinthe menusettings,a STANDARDfunction
(see chapter 5.19) will bring up these normal settings.
