2.5 180°/Audio

In this mode the upper half of the screen shows a 180° bow up

presentation, while the lowerpartis usedfora recording ofthe

audio channel.

Theaudiochannelisshownwitha continuouswhitelineinthe

horizontal picture, and can be trained in any direction. The

recorded echoes are a direct replica of the echoes under the

white audio line.

As the audio channel is recorded over a period of time, this

mode is especially useful for detection of weak echoes mixed

with reverberation or noise.

The recording of the last 512 transmissionsisalways storedin

the computer, even if another mode is selected. That means

thatthisrecordingwillalwaysbepresentedwhenselectingthe

180°/audio mode.

Note that theping sectorwill remain360° ifOMNI isselected,

but that only 180° are presented.
