6 SYSTEM START--UP
Note ! To do the final test, the vessel must be in the sea. This because the
transducer always must be in water before starting the transmitting.
6.1 Air--bleeding of the sonar trunk
After the vessel is launched, carry out the following procedure to
bleed out the air from the sonar trunk:
j Refer to figure 3 to locate the air--bleeding screw on the
Hull Unit.
j Loosentheair--bleedingscrew carefully2to3turnsuntil
the air inside the trunk starts blowing out.
j When water starts splashing, tighten up the screw.
6.2 Preparing the system start--up
In order to prepare the system start-up, carry out the following
operations in the Transceiver Unit and the motor control unit.
j Reinsert the uses F204 and F205 on the HV power unit.
j Setthehoisting/loweringswitchinthemotorcontrolunit
to REMOTE position.
