5.3 Connecting the transducer
Note ! The transducer cables and connectors have to be kept dry and handled
with care to avoid mechanical damage.
j In order to make sure that nobody is starting up the
system, pull out the mains connector P201 on the power
supply in the Transceiver Unit.
j Refertofigure9,andremovethecover(1),theoutercable
strapping bar (2) and the inner cable strapping bar (3).

j Unpacktheconnectorprotectionononeofthetwoflexible
transducer cables.
If the numbers of the eight connectors are no. 1 to no.
8, the cables are to be threaded through the right-hand
cable inlet in the bottom of the Transceiver Unit.
If the numbers of the eight connectors are no. 9 to no. 16, the
cables are to be threaded through the left-hand cable inlet
in the bottom of the Transceiver Unit.
