Totrackatarget,placethecursoroverthedesiredlocationand
presstheTargetTrackbutton.Acirclewillappearonthedisplay
anditspositionautomaticallytrackedbythesystemusingthe
strongestechocentredinthe”window”representedbytwolines
ontheaudioline.The“window’s”sizemaybeselectedbythe
TrackWindowbuttonintheSetupmenu.
•Thevectororiginatingfromthetarget’scentreindicatesits
courseandspeed.Thelengthofthevectorincreasesrelative
tothetarget’sspeed.Oneknotisrepresentedbyasmallmark
onthevector.Acourselinecanalsobedisplayedshowing
thetarget’strack.
•Targettrackingsymbolsanddataaredisplayedwithalight
violetcolour.InadditiontotheinformationontheCatch
datapage,thespeed,courseanddistanceforsomemodesare
foundinthelowerlefthandcornerofthescreen.
•InManualtiltmode,thetiltanglewillautomaticallybe
adjustedwithrespecttothedistancetothetrackedtarget.
•WhentheAutotiltfunctionisactivatedintheTargettrack
mode,thetiltsearchcentreisautomaticallyadjustedwith
regardtothedistancetothetrackedposition.

ManualtrainingoverridestheTargetTrackingfunction.

TheTiltbuttonsallowsyoutocontroltheverticalangleofthe
transducerbeam,andprovideaprogramforanautomatictilt
sequence.
