Autosearch
IntheAutosearchmodethesonarwillautomaticallysearch
withinpreviouslydenedsectorlimitswiththeselectedaudio
linedesignatingthecentreofthesearch.Thesearchsectoris
displayedonthebearingcardwithtwowhiteangularsymbols.
•ThesearchsectorisadjustedbypressingandholdingtheAuto
SearchbuttonandsimultaneouslypressingtheTrainleftor
Trainright(arrow)buttons.
•TheAutosearchfunctionisoverriddenwheneithertheTrain
leftorTrainright(arrow)buttonsarepressedandwillcontinue
oncethebuttonisreleased.Thepresentbearingatthemoment
eitherbuttonisreleasedwillbecomethecentreofthesearch.
Positiontrack
ThePositiontrackfunctionisonlyavailablewhenbothacourse
gyroandaspeedlogareinterfacedtothesonarsystem.Totrack
axedposition,placethecursoroverthedesiredlocationand
pressthePositionTrackbutton.Ageographicallyxedcircle
willappearonthedisplay,anditspositionwillautomaticallybe
trackedbythesystemwithrespecttothebearingandtiltangle.
WhentheAutotiltfunctionisactivatedinthePositiontrack
modethetiltsearchcentreisautomaticallyadjustedwithregard
tothedistancetothetrackedposition.
