targets,ownshipandshinggear.
(A)Targetmarker
Tomarkatarget,movethecursoroveritandpressthebutton.A
triangularsymbolwithacorrespondingnumberwillappearon
thescreenoverthetarget.Positiondataforthedenedmarkers
aredisplayedintheObjectsmenu.
•Notethatthesystemcontinuestotrackthemarkersevenwhen
outsidethesonarrange.
•TheTargetmarkerbuttoncanalsobeusedformanualtarget
trackingasthesystemisdesignedtocalculatethespeed,
courseanddistancebetweenthelasttwochosentargets.
•Thetargetmarkerdataisdisplayedinwhiteguresfor15
minutesinthelowerrighthandcornerofthehorizontal
presentation.Thisfunctionisalsoaneffectivemethodfor
determiningthedistancebetweentwoselectedpointsonthe
screen.

function,movethecursortothedesiredpositionandpressthe

location.Thesizeofthesymbolisequaltothatofthepurse
seineselected.
