location.Thesizeofthesymbolisequaltothatofthepurse
seineselected.Thismarkermaybeusedtoestimatethesizeofa
schoolofshorasanindicationofthesizeofthepurseseine.
Howtoaddan’Ownship’symbol
1PresstheOwnshipbuttonintheSymboleldonthe
OperatingPanel.
ThesquareOwnshipsymbolisplacedonthescreenatthe
vessel’scurrentlocation.
Howtoadda’Gear’symbol
1PresstheGearbuttonintheSymboleldontheOperating
Panel.
Thegearsymbolwilleitherbeapurseseinecircleoratrawl
symboldependingontheparameterchosenbytheGear
buttonintheSetupmenu.Theselectedgearsymbolwill
bedisplayedinyellow.
Howtousetheseinecircle
1PresstheGearbuttonontheOperatingPanel.
Thepurseseinecirclewillappearontheforwardendofthe
shipsymbolonthecorrespondingsideofthevesselselected
intheSetupmenu.Thecirclewillfollowthevessel’s
movements.
2Atthemomenttheseineisshot,presstheGearbuttonagain.
Thepurseseinecirclewillremainstationaryandindicate
theidealpathforsettingtheseine.Threesquaresymbolson
theship’scourselineindicatethe:shooting,onehalf,and
theendoftheseinepositions.Threedifferentnetscanbe
denedifyouclickGearontheSetupmenu.
