noisesfromthehoistscreworthemotor.
7Checkthatnowaterpenetratesthroughthetopofthe
transducershaftsleeve.
Ifwaterispenetrating,youneedtoaddlubricant.

8Setthehoist/lowerswitchS302topositionHOIST.
9Observethatthetransducerishoistedfromthewater.
Thehoistingmotorwillautomaticallystopwhenthe
transducershaftreachestheupperlimitswitch.
10Checkthatthetransducerishoistedproperly,thatthe
transducercableisnottangledinanyway,andthatnoother
objectsinterferewiththeoperation.
11Setthehoist/lowerswitchS302topositionREMOTE.
12CloseandsecuretheMotorControlUnit.
13ConnectthemainspowertotheProcessorUnit.
14RemovethewarninglabelontheOperatingPanel.
Cleaningthetransducer
Thetransducernormallyneedslittleattention.However,the
transducerfaceshouldbeinspectedandcleanedwhendocking.
Note
D o n o t paintthetransducerwithtraditionalhullplatingpaint.
UseonlythecorrecttypeofpaintapprovedbySimrad.
