Emergencyloweringandhoistingoperation
Ifthenormalhoist/loweroperationdoesnotwork,eventhough
the3–phasevoltagefortheMotorControlunitisavailable
(indicatorL1illuminated),thetransducercanbehoistedand
loweredbymanualoperationofthehoist(K301)andlower
(K302)contactorsintheMotorControlUnit.
WARNING
Asthisoperationoverridestheupperandlower
limitswitches,thecontactorsmustbereleased
b
e f o r e thetransducershaftreachesupperorlower
position.Ifnot,itmaycauseseriousmechanical
damagetothehullunit.
Forthisreason,thisproceduremustonlybeused
inemergencies.
1Securethesystemforanyremoteoperationbysettingthe
hoist/lowerswitchS302topositionSTOP .
2Locatetheparticularcontactor(K301forhoistingandK302
forlowering)andopenthetransparentplasticcoveronthe
frontofthecontactor.
3Useascrewdrivertopressthebluespringreturnactuatorto
applythe3-phasevoltagetothemotor.
4Observethemovementofthetransducershaft,andrelease
theactuatorinduetimeb
e f o r e thetransducershaftreaches
upperorlowerposition.
