Howtohoistthetransducerfromthesonarroom
Thisprocedureexplainshowtohoistthetransducershaftand
transducerfromthesonarroom.Thecontrolswitchesinsidethe
MotorControlUnitareused.
1IntheMotorControlUnit,setthehoist/lowerswitchS302
toHOIST.
2Observethatthetransducerishoisted.
Thehoistingmotorwillautomaticallystopwhenthe
transducershaftreachestheupperlimitswitch.
Ifnecessary,thehoistingcaneasilybestoppedinany
positionbysettingtheswitchS302topositionSTOP .
3Whenthetransducershafthasbeenhoistedtotherequested
position,setswitchS302topositionSTOP.
Finalizingmaintenancework
Whenthemaintenanceworkonthehullunithasnished,use
hoist/lowerswitchS302tohoistthetransducertoitsupper
position.
The,setthehoist/lowerswitchS302toREMOTE.
Manualloweringandhoistingusingthehandcrank
Ifthenormalhoist/loweroperationdoesnotwork,andthe
3-phasevoltageforthehoistingmotorisunavailable(indicators
L1andL2arenotilluminated),thetransducercanbehoistedor
loweredmanuallybymeansofthehandcrank.
1Removethe3–phasemainsfuseforthehullunit.
2LocatethemotorprotectingswitchS301intheMotor
ControlUnit.
3ReleaseS301bymovingthehandledowntopositionOFF.
4LocatethehandcrankinsidetheMotorControlUnit.
5RemovetheplasticplugonthetopcoveroftheHullUnit,
andmountthehandcrankontothestubshaftthroughthe
holeinthetopcover.
6Usethehandcranktolowerandhoistthetransducer.
Continueuntilthetransducerisfullyloweredorhoisted.
7Removethehandcrankfromthestubshaft,andmountitin
itsstoragepositionintheMotorControlUnit.
8ActivatetheS301motorprotectingswitchbymovingthe
handleuptopositionON.
9Re-insertthe3–phasemainsfuseforthehullunit.
