MotorProtectingSwitchS301
Topreventthehoistingmotorfromoverload,the3-phase
voltageforthemotorisfusedwiththecurrentadjustableMotor
ProtectingSwitchS301.ThisswitchislocatedinsidetheMotor
ControlUnit.
Themotorprotectingswitchwillautomaticallydisablehoisting
andlowering,if:
•thevessel’sspeedistoohigh
•thetransducershafthasbeenbent
•thelubricationreservoirontheHullUnitisempty
Insuchcase,afailurewarningwillbepresentedonthesonar
display.Afterthecauseofthefailurehasbeenxed,the
protectingswitchisresetbypressingtheoperatinghandle
upwardstopositionON.Forservicepurposes,thisoperating
handlecanbepresseddownwardstopositionOFFtoprevent
unexpectedoperationwhileservicingtheHullUnit.
