•Auto:ClicktoenableAutotiltmode.
Inthismode,thetransducerwillautomaticallychangetilt
angleforeachtransmission.Thechangeofthetiltangleis
selectedbytheTiltStepbutton,andthetotaltiltsectoris
selectedbytheTiltSectorbutton.Thecentreoftheautotilt
searchcanbeadjustedwiththe-(tiltdown)or+(tiltup)
buttonsontheOperatingPanel.Thetiltsectorlimitswillbe
shownonthetiltindicatorwithyellowlinesanddigits.
Notethattheautotiltisworkingdifferentlywhenoneof
theautomatictrainingprogramsareactivated(Autosearch,
PositiontrackorTargettrack).

TheTipparameterdialogopenswhenyouclicktheTipbutton
ontheVertical180menu.ThismenuisonlyavailableinBow
up/180°V erticalmode.
Asthecylindricaltransducerhasa“blindzone”straightdown,
anechopresentationinthisdirectionwillbelimitedtotwo
approximately60degreessectors.Toavoidthis“blindzone”,the
verticalsliceismade“tippable”,andbyselectinga-60degrees
tipangle(orless),afull180degreescoverageisobtained.The
tipanglecanbeadjustedfrom+10to-90degrees.Inaddition
tothepresentationinthisdialogandontheTipbutton,the
selectedtipangleisalsoshownwithadottedyellowlineinthe
tiltindicatorintheupperleftcorner.
