aboveshowsthedifferentpulselengthsgiveninmilliseconds
(ms).
AboutFM(FrequencyModulation)
IntheFMmode,thetransmitterpulseisfrequencymodulated.
Thismeansthatthefrequencyofthetransmittedpulsechanges
duringthetransmission.Thereceiverundertakesaspectrum
analysistocomparethereceivedechoeswiththetransmitter’s
frequencycode.Thisprovidesastableechopresentation,and
greaterabilityofdetectionasnoiseandreverberationarereduced.
