TimeorDatebuttonsinthedefaultStatusparameterdialogat
thebottomofthemenus.
TheDateandtimepropertiesdialogboxisprovidedbythesonar’s
operatingsystem,anditisusedtochangetime,dateandtime
zonesettings.Thetimeanddateinformationisbatterypowered
andstoredinthememorywhenthesonarisswitchedoff.

•Timeadjustment:Usethecursorandselecttheactualdigit.
Thenusethetwoarrowbuttonsinthespinboxtoadjust.
•Dateadjustment:Usethespinboxesandthecalendarto
changemonth,yearanddate.
•Timezone:Usethelistboxtoselectyourgeographical
positionforthecorrecttimezone.

DeadReckoning
Dialogdescription
TheDeadReckoningparameterisactivatedwhenyouclickthe
DeadReckoningbuttonintheSetupmenu.
TheDeadReckoningfunctionisusedtoimprovethepositionof
thehistoricaltracklinefromthevessel,relativetotheactual
positionofthedriftingshinggear.Inordertogetcorrectdead
reckoning,aDopplerspeedlogmustbeconnectedtothesonar.
WhenDeadReckoningisswitchedoff,thevesselmovementand
tracklinewillbecalculatedfromtheGPSdata,whichthenwill
berelativetothebottom.Whenswitchedon,theinputsfromthe
gyroandspeedlogareusedtopositioningthevesselrelativeto
thewater.
