TheDF(Differential)GeometrysensorsettingwillonlyuseonechannelonthePIsystem,

butwillnotprovidedextendedrange.

TheCoarseorFinesettingsarenotdenedbythesensorconguration,butinthePI

menusystem.

OnthePI44/54systemsthephrasesSensitiveandCoarseareused.

Note

ThePIGeometryDifferential(DF)sensorversionsareboth“single”sensors.The

otherPIGeometryversionsareall“dual”sensors.Theywillseizetwocommunication

channelsonthePI50.

1ClicktheSetupiconundertheMainmenutoopentheSetupmenu.

2ClicktheSelectSensorsbuttontoopentheSelectSensorsdialog.

3ObservetheAvailableSensorseldontheupperleftsideofthedialog.Itlistsall

thesensortypessupportedbythePI50.

4ClickonceontheGeometrysensorinthelist,thenclickthe[►]buttontocopy

thesensortotheSelectedSensorslist.

5Observethatanerrormessageappearsifyoutrytoaddtoomanysensorstothe

SelectedSensorseld.

ThePI50canhandlemaximumsixsensors.Rememberthatdualsensorseachseize

twocommunicationchannels.

6IntheSelectedSensorseld,clickonceonasensortoselectit.

7Clickoneofthe[▲]or[▼]buttonstomovethesensorupordownonthelistin

theSelectedSensorseld.

Theorderinthislistalsocontrolstheorderinwhichthesensorsarepresentedinthe

SensorCongurationeld,aswellastheverticalorderofthesensorviewrectangles

inthePI50displaypresentation.
