Clickintheeldtoenteranothername.
IfyoudonothaveacomputerkeyboardconnectedtoyourPI50system,
clicktheKeyboardbuttontoopenanon-screenkeyboard.
TheLabelNameisonlyshowninthisdialog.
CChooseUpdateRate.

Thisparameteriusedtoselectthesensor’supdaterate.
ThisishowoftenthePI50canexpecttoreceiveinformationfromthe
sensor.
Note
TheUpdateRateparameterisvital.Theupdaterateyouchooseherem u s t
complytotheupdaterateprogrammedintothesensor.Ifthesedonot
match,thecommunicationwillnotwork.
ThedefaultupdateratesforthevarioussensorsarelistedinchapterPI50
Sensors.
Tochangethechannelnumberinthesensor,usethePIConguratorutility.
DChooseSensorValueName.
aSensorValueName
Bydefault,theSensorValueNameisthesameasthesensornamelistedin
theAvailableSensorslist.IfyouhaveakeyboardconnectedtothePI50
computer,youcanclickintheeld,andenteranothername.Y oucan
alsoopentheon-screenkeyboard.
TheSensorValueNameisusedintheSensorviews.Ifyouaresettingupa
dualsensor,youcanentertwodifferentnames,forexample“Portdoor”
and“Starboarddoor”.
