ThecolourcodeisissuedautomaticallybythePI50system.Thesamecolouris
usedintheTrendviewandintheHistoryeld.
BCurrenttemperature:Thisthecurrenttemperaturemeasuredbythesensor.The
currentmeasurementunitisshown,aswellasabluetriangle.Thetriangleindicates
ifthetemperatureisincreasingordecreasing.Inthisexamplethetemperatureis
measuredto4,5°C,anditisrapidlyincreasingwith2°Ceachminute.
CTemperaturechanges:Thisdigitshowstemperaturechangesrecordedbythesensor.
Thevalueisshowninunitsperminute.Thedirectionofthetemperaturechangeis
shownwiththebluetriangle.Ifthesensordoesnotdetectanytemperaturechanges,
thearrowisremoved.
DHistoryeld:Whenthesizeofthepresentationrectanglepermits,ahistoryeld
isshown.Theeldoffersagraphicalpresentationofthesensorinformationfor
thelast20minutes.Theverticalrangeissetautomaticallydenedbythecurrent
measurements.
EPulselampandTrendviewicons:ThegreenPulselampiconasheseverytimea
signalisreceivedfromthesensor.ClicktheTrendviewicontoopen(andclose)
theTrendviewforthesensor.
PITemperature/Depthsensorview
ThepurposeoftheSimradPITemperature/Depthdualsensoristoachieveaccurate
measurementsofboththewaterdepthandthetemperature.
ThePITemperature/Depthsensorthuscontainsbothapressuresensortomeasurethe
waterdepth,andatemperaturesensortomeasurethetemperature.Thesensorhasbeen
developedtobeusedonbothbottomandpelagictrawls,aswellasseines.
Onatrawl,shesensorisnormallyinstalledontheheadropeorfootrope.
Threesensorversionsareavailable.Thesearesetupformaximumdepth300m,600
mor1000m.Thedepthrangeisxedbythefactory,andcannotbechangedinthePI
Conguratorutility.
