measures82,5metersfromtheseasurfaceanddowntothesensor,andthesensor–
andthusthegear–isslowlyrisingwith3meterseachminute.
GDepthchanges:Thisdigitshowsdepthchangesrecordedbythesensor,andthusthe
ascendingordescendingspeedofthenet.Thevalueisshowninunitsperminute.
Thedirectionisshownwiththebluearrowhead.Ifthesensordoesnotdetectany
depthchanges,thearrowheadisremoved.

TheSimradPITemperaturesensortellsyoutheexactseawatertemperaturewhileyou
areshing.
Thewatertemperatureisanimportantparameter.Fishandbaitaretemperaturesensitive,
andtheyarenormallyfoundwithinspecictemperaturezonesforfeedingandspawning.
However,thetemperaturelayersinthewaterareconstantlychanging,andforthisreason
thetemperaturemustbemonitoredconstantly.
