ThePISpread/Depthsensorthuscontainsbothapressuresensortomeasurethewater
depth,andaspreadsensortomeasurethedistancetotheRemotesensorontheother
trawldoor.ThePISpread/Depthsensorhasbeendevelopedtobeusedonbothbottom
andpelagictrawls.
Thesensorisnormallyinstalledontheporttrawldoorusinganadapter.
Threesensorversionsareavailable.Thesearesetupformaximumdepth300m,600
mor1000m.Thedepthrangeisxedbythefactory,andcannotbechangedinthePI
Conguratorutility.

Thisisa“dual”sensor .ItwillseizetwocommunicationchannelsonthePI50.

Thearrowheadsindicatethecurrentchangesinthe
spreaddistance;increasingordecreasing.Inthis
examplethespreaddistanceisslowlydecreasingwith
2metersperminute.Ifthetwoarrowheadsarepointingt

spreaddistanceisdecreasing.Iftheyarepointingawayf
r o m eachother,thespread
distanceisincreasing.
