ThePI50willthencalculatethedifference.AnytypeofDepthsensorwilldo.

Notethatthisisnotadedicatedsensor,butapresentationgeneratedbythePI50basedon

informationfromothersensors.

Twosensorviewrectanglesareused,onetopresenttheinformationfromthetwodepth

sensors,andonetoprovidethegeometryinformation.

Tosetupthetwodepthsensors,usetheAdvancedSensorCongurationfunctionalityin

theSelectSensorsdialog.

fromthebottomanduptowhereverthesensorislocated.Thisprovidesyouwitha

valuablerangeofapplicationsforbottomandpelagictrawling.

•Onabottomtrawl,placethesensorbehindtheheadrope.Fromthispositionitwill

tellyoutheheightofthetrawlopening.Thisallowsyoutoadjustyouequipment

immediatelyiftheopeningisreduced,andyouwillavoidlosingcatch.
