BBottomcontactstatusicon:Thearrowdisplays“bottomcontact”.
Thisisgraphicallyrepresentedbymakingcontactwith
thehorizontalblackline(seabed).Whenbottomcontact
islost,thearrowwillrisefromtheseabedandchange
appearance.
•Lefticon:Thesensorhasliftedofftheseabed.
•Righticon:Thesensorisinphysicalcontactwiththeseabed.
CTimer:Thistimerrecordshowmanyminutesthathaveelapsedsincethesensor
wasactivated(lostbottomcontactortouchedthebottomdependingongeartype).
Ifthebottomcontactisregained,thetimerstops.Itisthenrestartedoncethestatus
changesagain.ThetimercanbemanuallyresetbyclickingtheResetCounters
buttonontheOperationmenu.
DHistoryeld:Whenthesizeofthepresentationrectanglepermits,ahistoryeld
isshown.Theeldoffersagraphicalpresentationofthesensorinformationfor
thelast20minutes.Theverticalrangeissetautomaticallydenedbythecurrent
measurements.
EPulselampandTrendviewicons:ThegreenPulselampiconasheseverytimea
signalisreceivedfromthesensor.ClicktheTrendviewicontoopen(andclose)
theTrendviewforthesensor.
PICatchsensorview
UsingtheSimradPICatchsensor,youcaneasilymonitorthellingrateandtheamount
ofcatchinthetrawl.Thesensorsimplymonitorstheexpansionofthemeshesinthe
cod-end.Oncethevolumecaughtisenoughtoexpandthemeshes,theywillpullthe
detectorwiresandengagethesensor.Thesensitivityofthesensorcaneasilybeadjusted
byextendingthedetectionrubberbandstospanadditionalmeshes.
