ThemenusystemonthePI50isbydefaultplacedontherighthand
sideofthedisplaypresentation.Y oucanhowevereasilymovethe
menutotheleftsideusingtheDisplayOptionsdialog,orhideit
fromviewwiththeMenubuttonontheTitleBar.
Themainmenuisshort,andthethreesub-menusareopenedby
clickingonthethreeicons.
1TheMainmenuprovidestheparametersmostfrequentlyused
duringnormaloperation.
2TheOperationmenucontrolsthemainoperationalparameters.
3TheDisplaymenucontrolsthevisualaspectsofthesystem,
suchasparametersrelatedtothedisplaypresentation.
4TheSetupmenuallowsyoutocontroltheconguration
ofthesignalprocessing,aswellassysteminstallationand
maintenance,andtheinterfacestoperipheraldevices.
Menubuttons
Eachmenucontainsseveralmenubuttons.Eachbuttonshowsthefunctionofthebutton,
someofthemalsodisplaythecurrentparametersetting.Themajorityofthebuttonsin
eachmenuprovideoneormoreofthesefunctions:
Youcanincreaseanddecreaseparametervaluesbyclickingthe[+]and[]elds
onthebutton.
Youcanchangeparametervaluesbyclickingonthebutton,holdingthemouse
depressed,andthenmovingthecursorsideways.
Youcanchangeparametervaluesbymeansofthescrollwheelonthemouseor
trackball.
Youcanenterparametervaluesfromthekeyboard(ifyouhaveone).
Youcanselectparametervaluefromthebutton’ssub-menu.
Youcanopenadedicateddialog.
