ThePI50requiresavalidlicensetooperate.Withoutalicenseyouwillnotbeable
tocommunicatewiththePI50Receiver.

Ifyoureplaceyourcomputer,orifyoureplacemajorcomponentsinsideyourcomputer ,
youwillneedanewlicensecode.
Westronglyadviceyoutorecordthelicensecodeforsafekeeping.Youmayforexample
writeitdowninthebeginningofthereferencemanual.
1Double-clickthePI50icononthedesktoptostarttheapplication.
2ClicktheSetupiconundertheMainmenutoopentheSetupmenu.

3ClickInstallationtoopentheInstallationsub-menu.
Onthesub-menu,clickSoftwareLicensetoopentheSoftwareLicensedialog.
4WritedowntheHardwareIDprovidedbytheSoftwareLicensedialog.
5Contactyourdealertoorderthesoftwarelicense.
Yourdealerwillneedthefollowinginformationfromyoutoplacetheorder:
•Vesselnameandcallsign
•Vesseltype(trawler,purseseiner,etc.)
•Vesselowner’sname,addressandcontactinformation
•HardwareID
6Whenthesoftwarelicenseisreturnedtoyou,startthePI50,opentheSoftware
Licensedialog,andclickEnterLicenceString.
7Writedownthecode,andclickOk.
8ClickOKtosavethecurrentsettingsandclosethedialog.
HowtoupgradethePI50software
Usethisprocedureifyouwishtoreinstallthesoftware,orreceiveanewCD-ROM
withasoftwareupgrade.
