Operationalprocedures
Eachsensorhasanindividualalarmsetting.Toenableanalarm,youmustdene
minimumandmaximumlimitswithinthesensorsrange,andclicktoenablemessage
and/oraudionotication.

Ifthealarmistriggered,anaudiblesignalmaythusbeprovided,and/oryouwillreceive
amessageindicatingwhichsensorthatcausedthealarm.
Onceanalarmhasbeentriggered,itisautomaticallydisabledafter20seconds.After
thistimeitmaybetriggeredagainunlessthealarmsituationhasbeenrectied,oryou
havedisabledthealarm.
TheBottomContactandCatchsensorscanonlyprovidealarmswhentheyareactivated.
Thealarmsettingsyouspecifyareautomaticallysavedforthecurrentsession.Ifyou
alsowishtokeepthemforfutureusewiththesensorcongurationyouhavespecied
clicktheUserSettingbuttontosave.

2ClickAlarmLimitstoopentheAlarmLimitsdialog.
ObservethattheAlarmLimitsdialogisdynamic.Itliststhesensorsyouhave
currentlyselectedintheSelectSensorsdialog,andplacedthemintheorderyou
havedened.TheLabelIDandSensorValueNameprovidedarethesameasthose
youselectedintheSelectSensorsdialog.

4Todisableallalarms,removeallMessageandAudioselections.
5ClickOKtosavethecurrentsettingsandclosethedialog.
Howtoaccessthelogles
ThisproceduredescribeshowtoaccesstheloglesonthePI50.
WheneverthePI50issuesamessage,itisshownintheMessagesdialog.Simultaneously,
themessagesarestoredinanumberoflogginglesontheharddisk.Ifyouexperience
abnormalbehaviour,andwishtoconsultyourdealerand/orSimrad,theseloggingles
areveryuseful.Thefollowingprocedureexplainshowtoaccesstheseles.
5.Inordertohearanaudiblealarm,youmusteitherplacethePI50computerinapositionwherethe
internalloudspeakercanbeheard,oryoumustinstallaseparateloudspeakersystem.
