Satellite setup
General
Allows preprogramming of default Net service provider, S/A operator (Stand
Alone operator) and terrestrial network for each satellite region (Ocean Region).
Net service provider and terrestrial network
1 Select the function
Menu and scroll down to
Advanced functions:
2 Sroll down to
Satellite setup:
Selct or right arrow
opens the list of Satellites
and Default Net providers.
Scroll up/down to wanted
satellite:
Selct then initiates search
for the specified satellite.
(and a new spot beam selection)
Right arrow displays
satellite info:
(scroll to wanted satellite)
3 Edit opens the setting
window for the selected
satellite:
4 Right arrow opens the
list of available Net service
providers.
5 Scroll up/down to wanted Net.
Selct enters the new default Net
service provider:
6 Return to step 4, scroll down to
Terrestrial network and key in code.
Save stores the selected Net service
provider and Terrestrial network as the
default for that particular satellite.
S/A operator and terrestrial network
Repeat steps 4 - 6 for selection of S/A operator and terrestrial network.
