Installation Manual
20222006 / Rev. A 39
βˆ’ CA, CR, CE and other CP designated products can be
upgrated to SimNet but will not be NMEA2000 certified
βˆ’ Tr. = Transducer (pure data source)
βˆ’ Pending means that the product is in the process of being
NMEA2000 certified.
Notes!
1. NMEA0183 and Robnet2 data will be available on
SimNet only if the NMEA0183 or Robnet2 input is
selected as source on the Autopilot or the EQ and C-
designated products listed above. These products are part
of the Simrad group as default, so this will be the source
selection for the Simrad group also.
2. The data source will on SimNet be recognized as APxx
(e.g. AP25), while it on the autopilot will display
differently, e.g. NMEA-1, referring to the specific NMEA
port.
3. Has built in termination and requires SimNet cable.
4. The Class 1 products convert a selection of NMEA0183
sentences to SimNet data. Refer to the individual product
manuals for information.
5. Always consider AT10 as an alternative to using a
Class 1 product as NMEA0183 converter because of it’s
capability to convert data (See page 46). It is also
powered by SimNet and makes data available without the
need to power a Class 1 product.
