4.2 Class 2 system

SimNet are
displayed.
• SimNet cable not
connected
• No power on SimNet
• No termination plug in the
network
• Check installation
• Check switch and fuse
for SimNet power
2 Some data from
SimNet are
displayed but
not all
• Data source selection may
be locked on wrong or old
source.
• Source may be turned off
or not connected correctly
to power or network.
• Make a Source
Selection Reset or
master reset.
3 Unstable display
of SimNet data
• No termination in the
network
• Electrical interference from
other units on boat
• Not sufficient power in
endpoints of network.
• Insert a termination plug
as described in this
installation manual.
• Fit interference
suppressors to
equipment responsible.
• Check network DC
voltage in network
endpoints. (9 – 16VDC)
4 Only data on
some of the
products in the
network
• Loose or broken cables
• Product not connected to
the network / interface
• Check cables connected
to the first faulty unit,
replace if necessary.
