andPIsensors.Thechargerwill
automaticallysetupthecorrect
chargingcurrentdependingon
thesensortypeandthebattery
temperature.A“fuelmeter”shows
thestatusofthebatteryduringthe
charge.
EventhoughthePIChargeris
designedforfastchargingofthe
PIsensors,itcanalsochargethePS
sensors,butonlyatnormalcharge
rate.
Thechargercommunicateswith
thesensoratregularintervals.The
fastchargecycleiscontrolledbydata
exchangedbetweenthePIsensor
andthecharger.Aseriesofsafety
mechanismscontrolthetermination
ofthefastchargingcurrent.
ThePSsensorsdonotcommunicatewiththecharger.Aconstantchargecurrentof58
mAisthensetupbythechargerregardlessofthebatterytemperature.
