HowtoinstallthePI50software

UsethisprocedurewhenyouwishtoinstallthePI50softwareonacomputer.

Notethatminimumhardwareandsoftwarerequirementsmustbemetbythecomputer.

1Powerupthecomputer.

2InsertthePI50CD-ROM.

IfyourcomputerisnotttedwithaCDorDVDdrive,copythelesfromtheCDto

aUSBmemorystick.

3Observethattheinstallationprogramopens.

Iftheinstallationprogramdoesnotstartautomatically,usealemanagerto

accesstheCDorUSBmemorystick.Double-clickontheSetup.exeletostart

theinstallation.

4Allowtheinstallationprogramtorun.Followtheinstructionsprovided.

5Oncetheinstallationhasbeencompleted,double-clicktheprogramicononthe

desktoptostarttheapplication.

6IfyouuseWindows7operatingsystem:

aObservethatWindows7Firewallwillopenadialogrequestinginformation

aboutthenetwork.

SelectPublic,andclickAllowaccess.

bTheoperatingsystemmayalsoopenotherdialogstoverifythatthePI50

softwarecanrunonthecomputer.Youmustpermitthis.

HowtoobtainthePI50license

ThePI50requiresavalidlicensetooperate.

WithoutalicenseyouwillnotbeabletocommunicatewiththePI50Receiver.

Ifyoureplaceyourcomputer,orifyoureplacemajorcomponentsinsideyourcomputer ,

youwillneedanewlicensecode.

Westronglyadviceyoutorecordthelicensecodeforsafekeeping.Youmayforexample

writeitdowninthebeginningofthismanual.
