maintenanceandtoallowforvibration,makesurethatsomeslackisprovidedforall

cables.

Adetaileddrawingforeachcableisprovided.Eachdrawingprovidesadditional

specications,andmay,whenapplicable,include:

•Requiredminimumspecications

•Connectionsateachend(includingreferencetothecorresponding:systemunit,

terminalboardidenticationandplug/sockettobeused)

•Correspondingterminations

•Numberofcores

Cablesfallintotwocategories.

•Systemcables:ThesecablesaresuppliedbyKongsbergMaritime.

•Shipyardcables:Thesecablesmustbeprovidedbytheshipyardperformingthe

installation,ortheshipowner.Itisveryimportantthatthecablesusedmeetthe

minimumspecicationsprovidedinthismanual.

isswitchedoff.
