tosetuptheport.

InWindowsXP ,right-clickMyComputeronthedesktop.Then,clickProperties

→Hardware→Devicemanager→Ports.

InWindows7,openComputerfromthe“Start”icon.Then,clickSystemproperties

→AdvancedsystemsettingsHardware→Devicemanager→Ports.

Right-clickonPortstoviewand/ordenecommunicationproperties.

10ClickOKtosavethecurrentsettingsandclosethedialog.

11IntheI/OSetupdialog,clickonthechosenporttoselectit,thenclicktheMonitor

buttontoopenthePortMonitordialog.

12Checkthedataowonthecommunicationline.

Inordertomonitorthisdataow,theperipheralsystemmustbeactiveand

transmittinginformationtothePI50.

13Ifthedataowisoperational,closealldialogs.
