TheSimradPI50comprisesthefollowingunits:

•Colourdisplay

•ProcessorUnit(ThePI50MarineComputermaybeprovided)

•SensorReceiver

•Hydrophone

Colourdisplay

AnycommercialcolourdisplaycanbeusedwiththeSimradPI50system.However,

thechosendisplaymustbettedformaritimeuse,anditmustmeettheminimum

performancespecications.

Thesespecicationsare:

•Minimumscreenresolution:1280x1024

InadditiontothePI50presentation,thecolourdisplaywillalsodisplaythemenu

systemfortheinteractiveoperation.Inordertoincreasereadabilityandcomprehension,

dedicatedcolourpaletteshavebeenchosentoimprovethedistinctionbetweenthe

variousechoesandpresentationelements.

NotethatthecolourdisplayisnotastandardpartofthePI50delivery.
