Chargingmustonlytakeplacewithinthespeciedtemperaturerange.Forbest

results,keeptheambienttemperaturebetween+10and+25°C.

Note

Donotchargesensorsintemperaturesabove+50°Corbelow0°C!

Testprocedures

Ifyouwishtochecktheoperationofasensorbeforeyouattachittothenet,thereare

afewsimpleproceduresyoucando.Thesearenotinanywayaccurate,butyoucan

checkthatthebatteryhasbeenfullycharged,andthatthesensorisswitchedonwhenthe

waterswitchisactivated.

•Astandardmultimeter

•Ashortpieceofwire

Observethefollowingsteps:

1Placethesensoronthedeck.

2Inspectthesensorforvisualdamage.

Checkthattherearenocracksinthesensorsurface,andthatthechargerlugsare

notdamaged.

Ifyoufailtoremoveropes,wires,chainsorotheritemsthatobstructorshortcircuit

theelectricalconnectionsduringcharging,thelugsmaybedamagesdueto...??
