Usethisprocedureifyouwishtoreinstallthesoftware,orreceiveanewCD-ROM
withasoftwareupgrade.
1Observetheprocedureforsoftwareinstallation.

Unlessyouhavemadeanyhardwarechangesonyourcomputer,theexisting
softwarelicensewillbeused.
HowtoremovetheES70/PI50software
1Observetheoperatingsystem’sfunctionalityforsoftwareremoval.
Restoringsystemfrombackupimage
ThisprocedureexplainshowtorestoretheMarineComputeroperatingsystemsoftware
fromanimageUSBmemorystick.Theentireharddiskwillbeerased.A20GbC-
partitionanda10GbD-partitionwillbeestablished.Theimage.wimlewillthenbe
savedonthe“D”disk.
Note
Allcontentontheharddiskwillbeerased.
Thissystemrestoreprocedurewilltakeapproximately15minutes.
1Connectakeyboardandamousetothecomputer.
2InserttheUSBmemorystick(containingtheimage.wimle).
3Powerupthecomputer.
4ObservethatthecomputerbootsfromtheUSBmemorystick,andthatitcopiesles
fromthesticktotheharddrive.
5Afterapproximatelythreeminutes,observethatthecomputerrestartsautomatically
whenalltheleshavebeencopiedover.
6Observethatarestoreprogramisstarted,andthatthefollowingmessagesappear:
Youareabouttoinstallimage:r:\image\image.wim
WARNINGTHISWILLERASEALLDATAONHARDDRIVE!!

7Pressanykeyonthekeyboardtocontinue.
8ObservethattheImagextoolstarts,andthatthecounterreaches100%.
9Afterapproximatelyveminutes,observethefollowingmessages:
RemoveUSBstickandpressakeytorebootsystem.
