InternationalMaritimeorganization(IMO)fornavigationalpurposes.
Analarmwillbetriggeredif:
athecurrentdepthisshallower
thantheminimum alarmdepthyouhavechosen,or
bthecurrentdepthisdeeper
thanthemaximum alarmdepthyouhavechosen
Adedicatedfunctionallowsyoutodisablethedepthalarmsalltogether,whileanother
optionwillenableordisableanaudiblealarm.
Whenthealarmistriggered,theDepthAlarmseldchangescolour
tored.Thewarningisalsoprovidedasamessageinthemessaging
systemand-ifenabled-asanaudiosignal.
Toacknowledgethealarm,clicktheDepthAlarmseldtoopenthedialog.Thealarm
soundisthenautomaticallydisabled.To“restart”thealarm,clicktoenableUseAlarm
Sound.

IfthebottomdetectorintheES70failstodetectthebottomwhenthedepthalarmis
enabled,orifthebottomdetectorisswitchedoff,thealarmwillbetriggeredindependent
ofthecurrentdepths.
