Thisprocedureexplainshowtocontroltheverticalstart
range(startdepth)intheechogram.Thestartrangeis
controlledbytheStartRangebuttonontheMainmenu.

Inasurfaceechogram,settheStartRangevalueto0meters.Thiswillmakethe
echogramstartfromtheseasurface(providedthatthetransduceroffsethasbeen
dened).SetRangetothecurrentdepthplus20meters.Theechogramwillnow
showtheareafromtheseasurfaceanddownto20meters“below”thebottom.
Thebottomcontouriseasilydetectedwhenthedepthchanges.
