SelectInputs
TheSelectInputsdialogisopenedfromtheInputbuttonintheI/OSetupdialog.
Purpose
TheSelectInputsdialogallowsyoutoselectinformationfromexternalsensors
(measuringdevices)orsystems,andconnectthemtothechosenES70Ethernet(LAN)
orseriallineinput.
Description
IntheSelectInputsdialog,all
availableinputsourcesarelisted
inthelefttexteld.
Toaddaninput,clickonitinthe
leftcolumntoselectit,andthen
clickthe[►]button.
Iftheinput'scommunication
parametersneedtobesetup,click
theinputsensortoselectit,andthen
clicktheCongureInputbutton.If
applicable,therelevantdialogwill
open.
Notethatthisdialogallowsyoutoaddmorethanoneinputsignaltoaserialport.You
mustbefamiliarwiththetypeofinputsignalsbeforeyoudothis.Ifaninputport
issetuptoreceiveNMEAserialmessages,thesameinputportcannotbeusedto
simultaneouslyreceiveASCIImessages.
