Thisisthedepthofthetransducerfacerelativetothewatersurface.
Inordertomeasurecorrectwaterdepth,theES70needstoknowthevertical
distancebetweenthevessel’swaterlineandtheacousticfaceofeachtransducer.
Thedepthofeachindividualtransducermustbedenedmanually.Enterthedepth
asapositivenumber.

Ifthedistancefromthewaterlineanddowntothetransducerfaceis3,5
meters,enter+3,5m.
6Sequentialpinging
TheSequentialpingingfunctioncanbeusedifyouhavemorethanonetransceiver
inuseontheES70system.Whenactivated,eachindividualtransceiverwill
‘ping’insequence,onebyone.Iftwotransducersareusedonatransceiver,these
willpingsimultaneously.Whennotactivated,allfrequencychannelswill‘ping’
simultaneously.
Tip
TheSequentialpingingfunctioncanbeveryusefulifyourtransducersarelocatedin
suchamannerthatinterferenceisaproblem.
