Purpose
ThepurposeoftheOperationfunctionistocontroltheoperationalmodeoftheES70.
YoucansetittoNormal,ReplayorInactive.
Description
TheES70willduringnormaloperationdisplaythe
echosignalreceivedatthetransducer.Usingthis
Operationfunction,itmayalsobesetuptoplayback
apreviouslyrecordedechosignal.
IfyoudonotwishtousetheES70forashortperiod,
youcansetitsoperationalmodetoInactive.
Clickthemiddleofthebuttontoopenthesub-menu.

ClickthisoptiontodisabletheES70operation.Neithertransmissionnorreception
willtakeplace.
WhentheES70hasbeendisabledusingthisfunction,itwillstop.Thecurrent
echogramisremovedfromthescreen.
2Normal
Clickthisoptiontoenternormaloperationalmode.
Tip
Ifyouwishtoestablishapassivesystem(transmissionswitchedoff,butnormal
reception),clicktheNormalOperationbutton,andselectPassivemodeinthedialog.
